Unfolding enveloping missiles of soul Recall senses sadly Mirage like soft blue like lanterns below To light the way gladly Whether whistling heaven's clouds disappear Where the wind withers memory Whether whiteness whisks soft shadows away Feel flows (White hot glistening shadowy flows) Feel goes (Black hot glistening shadowy flows) Unbending never ending tablets of time Record all the yearning Unfearing all appearing message divine Eases the burning Whether willing witness w...
I'm trying hard to remember the title and/or lyrics and/or artist to a song that came out in the late eighties or early nineties. It's sort of a love song, and I think it's a duet... Pretty much all I can remember is that the chorus has something to do with love, and it's about people who might not be in love, or maybe they are, but they're lying and spying and all that stuff. I know this is sooo vague but it was a really popular song at the time and it's probably still played on mellow ra...
She blinked and thought of all the totally crazy, random thoughts she could have come up with at one time. Smoke tendrils curled into her nose, smelling of cigarettes and weed. She tried to remember when that time was, but her mind was filled with a caricature of them all as kids from That 70’s Show, sitting around a table smiling and laughing. She would definitely be Kelso, stupid but ridiculously good looking, she decided. Or Hyde. Hyde had better taste in music, rebellious/idiot ways, a...
OK i started watching Taxi Driver with Deniro today. I didn't get too far into it because I had to do a lot of shizott, but I wanna know what everybody thinks of this movie. Is it good? Is it gross, bad, scary, nice, funny, what? And how about Scorcese. I want to know about his cult following. ~Anne
The God of Magazines loves me. He really does. So, yesterday I'm at the drug store picking up my prescription, and it turned out that I had to wait a little while. So I was standing at the counter with my little pile of various gums and candies, and after about five minutes, my eyes strolled to the magazine rack. I thought about buying another crossword book, but decided against it A) because I've boughten two in the past month, and because I had to pay my tuition today. Then, as luck (o...
Here's a list of books that I love. Read on. The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides. It's a good, sad story about these girls who live in a Hitler-like family. It's great. Mr. Pratt by Joseph C Lincoln. This book is from the turn of the century, and is utterly hilarious. I highly doubt very many people have a copy, or would know where to get a hold of one. It's a strange thing that I have one myself. It's so funny though! This Side Of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I like this on...
Thank you Trinitie for wonderful inspiration. This is my LOOOONG list of favorite movies, with the few quotes of them I DO have. "The living ignore the strange and unusual. I myself am strange and unusual." ~Beetlejuice~ Love to Tim Burton "Nobody puts baby in a corner!" "Yeah, well, I guess that's what you would see.~Dirty Dancing~ It's the best (and only one I watch) chick flick, baby! I know it by heart. Seriously. "Can I keep you?" ~Casper~ OMG I love this movie so frickin much.....
Sometimes I amaze myself with how little I know about some of the things that I love. Take the Pinkerton album by Weezer for example. I listened to it nonstop for an entire summer, and well into the fall, loving the words, singing along to everything, being touched by it all, without knowing a single thing about it. Jesus, sometimes I feel like a total idiot. I mean, wouldn't I have at least figured out who Cio-Cio-San was? Apparently NOT!! So anyway, today it hits me. (I mus...
