This is Anne... Complete and Real

Ok I just wrote a blog about my own category. But what makes me more curious is what sort of writer you see yourselves as!

Are you an emotional writer? Do you just report the news? Or tell jokes?

Would you want to read your blogs if you didn't know yourself?

What kind of blogs do you like to read?

Do you think you're a good writer, or bad? Do you blog a lot?

How important is your writing to you?

I want to know everything!!! Let me know!!!!

Everyone else seems to be much more interesting than me.

I ususally hesitate to write what I'm actually feeling. I'm know that's not admirable in the least, and I'm working on it. I write for comments, no matter how shallow that seems. If I was only writing for myself, I write in a journal (which I do).

I feel as if I have my finger on the pulse of the nation.

...JB, amen!

I write however I'm feeling. If I feel cold and analytical, I write coldy and analytically. If I feel passionate, I write passionately. If I feel goofy, I write humor.

Good questions. It's good to evaluate yourself from time to time.

I suppose I am a mixture. Multiple categories if you will. I really enjoy humor, and make pitful attempts from time to time, such as my "This Evil Must Be Stopped" which was a horrible flop.

Most of my writing tends to be more along the lines of , ummm, boring stuff I see, do, or think about from time to time. What category would you call that?

For the most part, no I doubt I would read my blogs if I didn't know me. They tend to be somewhat dry and boring I'm sure.

I like to read all sorts of blogs (except political stuff which bores me to tears). I am fond of the humorous ones, but enjoy just about all of the blogs. I find it interesting to read what others are experiencing, thinking, and feeling.

As a long-time aspiring writer, it's good to read what other people are writing here. Gives a sort of an inside view of people, in a way.

Am I a good writer? Hmmmmm. I doubt anyone readng my blogs would think so, but I really don't do my best work here. I have written a few short stories and articles, some of which have been published. I would say I am a potentially good writer who has yet to reach a professional skill level.

Do I blog a lot? No. I am away from the computer most of the time.

How important is my writing to me? In a word, extremely. While on the road, I carry a journaling book with me (two actually) in which I write whenever the muse strikes me. (When the truck is parked, of course )

Anne, I find your writing to be quite interesting and enjoy reading it. Much better material than my own.

I like writing about things that I have experienced or how I view a situation. I love writing, but I never seem to have the time.

I do love reading most of the blogs around here. It is interesting to see how other people view things.

I think your blog is interesting from the articles which I have read. Keep up the good work.

I'm just me, an open book. I write about whatever I'm thinking about....but I try and stay away from the political arenas, I don;t know enough to get in there and play with the big boys, the serious, passionate debaters.

Apparently, people think I'm 'sensible'....I have not the faintest idea why. My husband doesn't think I'm sensible.....and he lives with me (neither do my kids, they think I'm loopy)!

Here are articles that I've written that are humorous. Those near the top are humor by yours truly; those at the bottom are just articles I've posted that have had funny things in them. The first link is to my most recent article as of now:

I think there is a catagory of Brads favorites and Brads non favorites...

Frankly, i am amazed i am still in the top 10 with only 2 feature articles... the same people up there all the time... i dont understand how my blog is consistantly in the top 10...

I hate favoritism.
I am in the non favorites.
thats my vent.

BAM!!!

I tend to find that time limitations dictate the type of writer I am.

When in work I'll spend a few minutes in the morning or at lunch reading and replying to the articles I find most intersting. These are usually in the current affairs and politics category as I don't have the time to read further. When I'm at home I can take much more time and actually consider writing an article. I also then read through the other categories and see what other peopel have to say.

I think I tend to be a fairly confrontational blogger. Not that what i write is designed to confront people, it's just that with limited time to blog I tend to reply to those articles which I disagree with first. The less time I have the more a reply can come acress as negative as oppossed to just a different opinion.

I don't know if I'm a good blogger as I have no concept of what is a good blogger. To me it's someone who provides a good article with plenty of meet for a good debate on a serious topic. For others it's someone with a story to tell, or someone with a humerous look on life, or just someone with useful information.

"Frankly, i am amazed i am still in the top 10 with only 2 feature articles... the same people up there all the time... i dont understand how my blog is consistantly in the top 10... "

I understand completely. Incidentally, is there a way you can find out what of your articles have been featured?

"took that kinda personally didn't ya Dan? hehehe... i's just kiddin' man... hope you knew that. ~Trin, you didn't really think i was serious did you?"

I actually did think you were serious, and I apologize for that... but hey it gave me an excuse to put up more links to my site, right? Anyhow, I've become a little more jumpy on JoeUser lately... there's some hostility in the atmosphere and I'm just trying to weather it out. My apologies.

I don't know if I'm a good blogger as I have no concept of what is a good blogger.
Your comment is neat, well organized, to the point, and easy to read. Yeah, you're a good blogger. Wish all the top ten's (hint hint wahkonta, lol) did that much.

I don't like categoryies, I just write the thing I find interesting, regardless the way other people see it. My first aim was to write an english blog, because I wanted to progress in written english, the second was to read other people thoughts, because I'm a little bit voyeur, and the third was to immortalize events of my life that I might forget latter, because i have drink and smoke to much shit around to have still my perfect memory.
I like to be read, but I notice that the posts that i really consider as best get hardly noticed!

May be when JoeUser will reach a much bigger size there will be some people to appreciate them....but I don't really care. I see myself as a multi face person and that the way I would like my blog to be...

Muggaz you are very popular with almost everyone here. Humor is popular, but hard to do. I am a serious writer, sometimes I an intense, other times, I just write boring mundane things. Being provocative will get you on the front page.
