This is Anne... Complete and Real

Well good afternoon all. It's 3:41 on a sunny Tuesday afternoon, I don't think there's a cloud in sight, 48 degrees with a chance of rain tonight. In summary, there shouldn't be any reason to complain.

Except for that I got three hours of sleep last night. It's not my fault, either. I didn't consume any caffeine yesterday. I only had one meal-spaghetti for dinner-and I had a few cheese nips later on. I had to write a paper, and my damn attention was just OFF, so it took me about three hours to write a three page paper (which is utterly ridiculous for me, usually I spout 'em out in less than an hour) because I just couldn't keep focused. I think I stared at the (blank) top of page two for a good hour.

I finally finished up a little after 10 when Dana came to visit. Ten o'clock, if you didn't know, means Family Guy and Futurama for me. So I watched them, and when eleven o'clock rolled by I discovered I still wasn't tired so I flipped the channels and settled on the Cosby show. Soon, that was done, and it was 11:45 and I was in the middle of watching Roseanne, which I got sick of, so I decided to turn off the light and try to catch some zzzzzs. Mind you, I still wasn't tired.

So I lay in bed for a good long while, rolling over and over and over and over and over. Finally, I looked at the clock and discovered it was a little after 1. I got up, turned on my lamp, grabbed a water and a pen and a crossword book. I finished two crossword puzzles and hoped I would be able to fall asleep after some good brain activity. Wrong!!! I didn't fall asleep until after 3:30.

And that's not the worst. I was blissfully asleep, when out of nowhere this unearthly sound disturbed me from my wonderful rest. I stood up and said "What the fuck!" and discovered this fearful noise was my cell phone. At 5:26 am!!! My God. Well, I didn't so much mind that I was woken up, it's okay. I don't really mind funny-time phone calls. I guess I've gotten used to them . But when I got into bed again, I COULDN'T FALL BACK ASLEEP!!!! I just couldn't. So I rolled over and over and over and over and over and over again until the last time I remember it was like, 6:36 or something, and I had a little over an hour til my alarm went off, and I was lucky to fall asleep finally.

DAMN THREE HOURS OF SLEEP! But luckily I got in a half hour nap after my first class. Still, I feel pretty fine, except a little shaky. I'm always shaky with few hours of sleep.

Well, the Insomniac Reporter is off to make some phone calls!!!
